Olga Xanthopoulou
Soprano/Voice Teacher
Olga Xanthopoulou joined the Metropolitan Opera Chorus in 2014 for the production of Die Meistersinger. Other productions include Fidelio(2016) Verdi's Requiem (2017) Samson and Dalila, Mefistofele and Otello (2018), Orfeo et Euridice (2019).
Olga was described by Classical Source as “ an absolute delight with a powerful melodious voice and a natural acting talent “, after singing the role of Musetta in Puccini’s La Boheme with Dicapo Opera.
Olga has collaborated with the Grammy Nominated cellist David Eggar in a concert at David Rubenstein atrium (Lincoln Center).She has sung numerous roles with companies in New York and Europe.
Some of the roles she has sung include Musetta in Puccini’s La Boheme with Dicapo Opera, Micaela in Bizet's Carmen/ NY Lyric Opera, Adina in Donizzetti’s L’Elisir D’ Amore/Divaria Prod., Beauty in Giannini’s Beauty and the Beast with Dicapo Opera, Roxanne in a production of the operetta Cyrano de Bergerac produced by the Victor Herbert Project, Nedda in Leoncavallo's Pagliacci, Papagena in Mozart's Magic Flute and Lenio in Martinu's Greek Passion with the State Opera of Greece, Despina in Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte in Orvieto , Italy. She has given concerts in Italy, France, and different cities in Greece.

Music is my way of living. I have been singing since I can remember. I have been classically trained in Greece, Italy, France and New York alongside internationally acclaimed singers as well as Tony Award winner teachers and conductors of the Metropolitan Opera. My singing resume includes operas, operettas, musicals as well as pop/rock concerts. I am constantly singing with the world's best professional musicians which is incredibly valuable that I bring to my teaching methods.
I have seen, heard and worked with hundreds of professional singers which has given me a deep understanding of healthy vocal technique.
